This
new design replaced a 30-year old structure that was being removed.
Guest quarters with a separate access allow for either guests or a full-time
caretaker of the property.
The view from the property - and from each room within the house - was of the
Breckenridge ski area across the valley.
Taking advantage of the orientation and topography of the land was a prime concern
and determinant in the design. Creating that design within a mountain vernacular
that is still evolving helped create a design of enduring beauty and lasting
quality.
